Pumpkin Pie Protein Smoothie

What’s good about it?

Using sweet potato or pumpkin provides plenty of betacarotene which the body converts to vitamin A – a valuable vitamin supporting immune function, gut integrity and skin health. The addition of collagen powder is a great way to further support connective tissue and joint health.

  1. Simply place all the ingredients in a high speed blender or nutri bullet and process until smooth and creamy.
  2. Ideally drink immediately.

Baobab fruit powder forms naturally inside the hard-shelled fruit of the African Baobab tree. This exotic tasting fruit is high in Vitamin C, Fibre, Calcium and Potassium and has a delicious citrus tang making it ideal for desserts, ice creams and smoothies.

½ mango or 100g peeled and cut into chunks

¼ cup / 60g canned pumpkin puree or cooked sweet potato / pumpkin

Pinch of cinnamon powder to taste

Pinch of turmeric

1 scoop collagen powder ( I use Arthred Collagen by Allergy Research)

1tsp ground flaxseed

1tbsp lucuma powder

1/2 tsp baobab powder

200ml coconut water
