An indulgent tasting healthy treat. This fudge is rich and creamy but low in sugar. The addition of maca powder gives the fudge a wonderful caramel flavour. You can use colostrum powder instead of the protein powder if wished in this recipe. Watch our video showing how to make them.

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Freezing time: 30 -60 minutes

Store in the fridge for 1-2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months

What’s Good About It?

The cashew nut butter provides a good source of heart healthy fats plus antioxidants and minerals such as zinc. Blending in protein powder is a great way to increase the protein content which can help you feel fuller for longer and stabilise blood sugar.

  1. Place the coconut oil, xylitol and cacao butter in a saucepan. Heat gently stirring all the time until melted.
  2. Cool slightly then blend with the remaining ingredients until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into chocolate moulds.
  4. Place in the freezer until hard.
  5. Turn out the fudge and store in the fridge until required.
