Coconut, Flax And Cinnamon Muesli

What’s Good About It?

Flaxseeds are rich in essential omega 3 fatty acids and a great source of fibre and lignans which the body converts into hormone like substances which can be helpful for balancing hormone levels.

 

 

  1. Simply place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Store in an airtight container until required.
  2. Spoon into bowls and serve with the nut milk.  Top with fresh fruit.

Did You Know?

Vary the nuts and seeds in this recipe according to taste or what you have available. This will keep in an airtight container for about 1 month.

40g / 1 cup shredded dried coconut flakes

1tsp ground cinnamon

40g / ½ cup chopped pecans

35g /  ¼ cup cracked flaxseed or ground flaxseed

4tbsp pumpkin seeds

4tbsp sunflower seeds

60g /½ cup almonds, roughly chopped

2tbsp sesame seeds

2tbsp shelled hemp seeds

60g goji berries

60g mixed dried berries
