Looking for a workout recovery shake?  Suffer with aching joints? Struggling with an inflammatory condition?  Try adding in turmeric. Turmeric contains curcumins, which are known for their anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Papaya also contains several unique protein-digesting enzymes including papain and chymopapain. These enzymes have been shown to help lower inflammation.  A fabulous shake – include a protein powder if wished to make this perfect for post workout. I love collagen powder – a crucial component of bones which is often overlooked.  Probiotics can also be included to help modulate the immune response.
